Old Hampton Seafood Kitchen is at 124 South Armistead Avenue in downtown Hampton, a few blocks from the waterfront, the Virginia Air & Space Center and the Carousel. It is a working seafood kitchen, not a themed restaurant — the kind of place people drive across the bridge for.
The menu is built on what this part of the bay does best: fried and steamed seafood, crab, shrimp, fish plates and the sides that go with them. Call ahead for the day's specials, and to order for pickup if you would rather eat it at home.
